SUMMARY:Creative Connections
DESCRIPTION:Creative Connections is a monthly arts exploration program for 
 children ages 7–12. Each session highlights either a featured artist\, 
 artistic movement\, or cultural tradition. After a short intro\, 
 participants get to create their own artwork inspired by the theme or an 
 artist while listening to stories\, poetry\, fairy tales and/or music 
 connected to the theme.\n\nCreative Connections celebrates the arts and 
 invites young creators to learn by making. \n\n \n\n\n\nSaturday\, February 
 28 - Black History Month: Famous black artists\, fables & music 
 \n\nSaturday\, March 28 - Women’s History Month: Famous female artists\, 
 poetry & music artists
