Civil War History Lecture Series: - "Gettysburg" by Roger Arthur
Join us as Roger Arthur delivers an amazing local history lecture on"Gettysburg" - the (Largest battle ever fought in the New World)
The Battle of Gettysburg marked the turning point of the Civil War. With more than 50,000 estimated casualties, the three-day engagement was the bloodiest single battle of the conflict.
The lecture will take place in a classroom at the Roosevelt Community Center (next door to the Library). Please park behind the Library in the larger parking lot. Follow the signs for History Lecture to show you the way through the building.
