College Applications: Knowledge is Power!

College Applications: Knowledge is Power!

If you are like most parents, you are terrified by the prospect of committing to making one of the biggest expenditures of your life without a clear plan for finding a college that is a fit for your child and for your budget. This seminar will help you to understand what colleges are looking for in applicants, what you should be looking for in a college, and how to go about collecting information and staying organized.

Barbara Briggs has been an educational consultant for over ten years. She supports both neurotypical students and students with neurological conditions such as ADD/ADHD through the college application process.  In addition to helping parents to plan and organize their college search, she works directly with students to draft compelling admission essays.  She has a B.A. with Honors from the Writing Program at Northwestern University and a J.D. from The University of Virginia School of Law.

Please note that masks are required for indoor programs. The presented may not be masked to insure that attendees can hear and understand the presentation.
