Books 'N Ballet at Middletown Free Library

Books 'N Ballet at Middletown Free Library

Join Miss Libby for a literacy and movement experience at the Middletown Free Library on Fridays, from 11:30AM to noon! We will read some picture books about ballet and learn some classical and contemporary ballet terminology.  Activities vary but can include rhythm, balance, and movement activities, coordination challenges, stretching, improvisation, props, and more! Wear your socks, ballet slippers, or sneakers, and some clothes you can dance in!  Ballet costume/attire is not required, but is definitely welcome.

Special for May: Bring your own stuffed animal or baby doll and we will incorporate it in our movement activities for this month only.

Registration is required as space is limited. All genders welcome! Best for ages 3-6, but siblings welcome.

Please specify the number of children you are registering.  Masks are encouraged, but not required.
