CANCELLED: Artist of the Month: Grandparent & Child Art Workshop

Ages 4-8 with a grandparent

Grandkids and their grandparents will have fun finding out about the featured Artist of the Month with read-aloud storytime and hands-on art projects. See incredible works of art, get fab facts about the artist’s life and times, and dive into the making of your own masterpieces. Artist of the Month is designed for quality time for grandparent and grandchild ages 4-8. Each pair will be at their own 6-foot table. Please note that there is a maximum of 3 people per table, either two grandparents with one child OR up to two children with one grandparent.

Book: The Fantastic Jungles of Henri Rousseau by Michelle Markel and illustrated by Amanda Hall

Activity: Henri Rousseau’s love of nature and animals led him to imagine wild and wonderful paintings. Paint a beastie in a jungle scene!
