Join us for our FIRST in person lecture at our new library location!!
Local historian Roger Arthur will be sharing a PowerPoint presentation using actual photographs of the day and its aftermath. What happened at the World Trade Center’s twin Towers in New York City, at the Pentagon’s west front in Arlington, VA. and the fate of United Fight 93 which, because of heroic passenger interference, crashed just outside Shanksville, PA.
Presentation by Local Historian Roger Arthur.
"An interest in American history is something I have had all my life. I studied it in college, taught it in school and traveled the country learning about it first hand, visiting every state in the Union.
After retiring early from industry, I followed my passion, returned to school and earned a Masters in U.S. History. In all I have twenty years as a classroom teacher and over thirty as a lecturer at universities, libraries, clubs, civic groups and now on ZOOM with series I prepare myself to deliver "History for the Fun Of It.""
