All ages welcome!
An introduction to Orienteering will be provided by a volunteer from the Delaware Valley Orienteering Association. Masks for group gathering is required. Orienteering is a hike looking for specific locations utilizing a detailed orienteering map. Great activity for people who like to go on a hike with a purpose! Also, it's a great activity for friends and families. Introduction and hike should take around 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
We will meet in the parking lot by the mansion (Parque Ridley Creek) and receive a group introduction, then will stagger start times for smaller groups/families as volunteers will lead you to the first post/marker.
Finish the course(s) by July 31st and submit a picture of your completed Course Control Sheet to Mr. Jason at micsd@delcolibraries.org for a chance to win a $50 Wawa gift card! One chance per household.
