Coral Reef CSI - Virtual

Coral Reef CSI - Virtual

60 Minutes; Grades 4th and up

Free Kits Included in Registration

The coral reef is a unique and essential ocean habitat, but corals across the world are disappearing. Who is the culprit? Increased salinity, human pollution, increasing water temperatures? Let’s test them all to find out which one is affecting the reef. Students will receive a shark tooth necklace kit to put together along with the instructor during the program. For aspiring scientist, participants will also get two “16 in 1” water test strips, so that after the program they can measure chemical levels in their own water and draw conclusions based on what they learned in the program.
