Ensuring Safety in the Home - A Family Caregiver Workshop
Are you concerned about your family member with dementia falling at home? Is your family member having difficulty moving through the home? Are you nervous when assisting your family member with a bath or shower? Jefferson Eldercare offers this workshop for family caregivers to give practical tips on how to make the home safer and resources for acquiring adaptive equipment that would increase safety during daily activities. The information provided to caregivers includes specific tips for living with individuals with dementia as well as general safety information.
The workshop will be presented by Lori Eckert, Occupational Therapist at Jefferson Health.
