Keeping a Nature Journal: a 4 part Series on Autumn at Ridley Creek State Park
KEEPING A NATURE JOURNAL : THE AUTUMN JOURNAL
This 4 week course invites you to explore the natural world around you and your personal connection with it. This will be accomplished by learning and developing different forms of expression to record observations, perceptions, and feelings. These will include layout & presentation, illustration, scientific & aesthetic observation, and creative & technical writing. We will create our own NATURE JOURNALS and each week, we will focus on a different aspect of observable nature in autumn and learn how to record them in a way that supports and nurtures own creativity and connection.
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN SKETCH BOOK!
All other supplies will be provided!
Feel free to bring a chair!
We will be meeting at Ridley Creek State Park near the Mansion.
