Raise Your Voice: High School Book Club
Raise Your Voice is a series of conversations for teens to share ideas with one another on Zoom. Each month we will feature recommended readings (available on Hoopla) and related activities for creative expression. Join us for one month or the whole series.
For October we will read The Voting Booth by Brandy Colbert, a novel about young people protecting the right to vote. What issues do you care about? Why do you think it is important to vote?
When you are working hard to make the world a better place, or worrying about big issues, it is critical that you pause and take care of yourself. Be sure to join us in November for a fun session on wellness. We will share favorite humourous podcasts, webcomics, and YouTubers -- anything that helps to give you a break and relax.
