Radnor Memorial Library and Main Point Books present Beth Kephart
Beth Kephart, a National Book Award finalist, is the award-winning local author of nearly thirty books, an adjunct teacher of non-fiction and fiction at the University of Pennsylvania, and the cofounder of Juncture Workshops. Kephart's essays and reviews appear in numerous publications, including The New York Times,The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Ninth Letter, and Literary Hub. A Radnor High School Hall of Famer, the author has given talks to readers and writers of all ages across the country and her readers are always waiting for the next book. Beth frequently collaborates with her husband, the artist William Sulit. Cloud Hopper is a young-adult novel that illuminates the perils of being an undocumented immigrant in the United States and explores loss and family tragedy. It is a poignant, high-flying adventure set among the old planes, Vietnam vets, and majestic hot air balloons of a run-down municipal airport.
