Pride for Teens: Celebration of LGBTQ Graphic Novels
Teens are welcome to enjoy Pride Month by reading some great graphic novels that depict LGBTQ characters. Celebrate the art form further by participating in one of these activities:
-
Create a piece of art based on the book/books you have read.
-
Create a poem inspired by the book/books you have read.
-
Write a message of love, peace, and acceptance.
-
Write book reviews.
- Sign up for the virtual book discussion program: More Diverse Comics, Please.
If you would like to share any of these activities on our social media, please send them via email to Jenifer. or share them on your own social media and tag us #mflpride20. For help finding titles and access to LGBTQ graphic novels, please email Jenifer.
