CANCELED - Out of This World Plants
In this hands-on lecture, hear from Longwood Garden’s instructors as they share stories about the wildest plants in Chris Thorogood's Weird Plants and their other worldly adaptations. Get up close and personal with succulent, aquatic and carnivorous plants from Longwood and learn about the future of plant conservation by exploring techniques used to help species in peril. Participants take home their very own test-tube plant. This program supports the Longwood Gardens Community Read Program which is designed to "encourage reading for pleasure and start a conversation."
