Teen Reading Lounge
Teen Reading Lounge (TRL) is an award-winning, nontraditional book club for teens in grades 7-12, also described as a book club on steriods! We will be reading books & articles, listening to podcasts, using the visual arts, theater, and music to reflect on and discuss concerns that teens face. The choices of what to read, listen to, or attend will be made in collaboration with the group members. Through TRL teens will be able to focus on issues of social justice and work with their peers to design a creative project. The first session of this program runs for 8 weeks, starting January 7, 2020.
