Techgirlz: Code & Play Your Own Game With Makey Makey, Scratch And A DIY Game Controller
For middle school girls. Please bring your own laptop. Registraiton required HERE.
In this workshop, students will use a Makey Makey Inventor’s kit to build a custom keyboard out of unconventional conductive materials, such as fruit and Play-Doh. Students will then pair their keyboard with the game created in Scratch programming in order to connect the digital and physical world.
**If your child does not already have a Scratch account, please create one on https://scratch.mit.edu/ by clicking "Join Scratch" (upper right). Please use your child's email and a password they will remember!**
