Fiber Arts Club

Do you like to be creative and learn new crafts? In the Fiber Arts Club we do crafts that use yarn, thread, fabric, and string. In the past, teens have

Knitted hats for themself or to donate to new born babies
Tie-dyed t-shirts
Embroidered onto fabric and then created pillows
Painted fabric and sewn it into a decorative pillow
Made string art designs
Macramed friendship & survival bracelets

This Fall we may do some of those same crafts again or also try batik, distressing fabric, weaving, shibori, and other forms of art. Teens' interests will determine our direction. Some examples of items created are below.
