Don't Be the Next Victim: Protect Yourself from Fraud
Presented by Newtown Township Police Detective William A. Moor, this program will identify the current types of fraud crimes being committed. Detective Moor will also discuss how criminals perform the fraud acts as well as provide ways to protect one’s self to help mitigate the acts.
Detective Moor has been a police officer for approximately 25 years, the last 17 with the Newtown Township Police Department. He has been assigned to Investigations the last six years and has investigated hundreds of different types of fraud and theft cases with extensive investigative training in social media, computer, cell phone, and bank fraud offenses. He has a Master’s Degree from St. Joseph’s University in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Homeland Security and an undergraduate degree from Neumann University.
