FRIDAY FILM - BORN YESTERDAY (1950)
Please join us for this month's film - BORN YESTERDAY (Columbia Pictures, 1950).
The delightful Judy Holliday won the Best Actress Oscar for her brilliant and funny role as Billie Dawn, the socially unsophisticated girlfriend of Harry Brock (Broderick Crawford), a corrupt millionaire junk dealer with big ambitions. When he arranges for a handsome young journalist (William Holden) to give Billie a crash course in "culture," Billie blossoms and becomes increasingly aware of her role as a pawn in Harry's crooked schemes. This is a classic comedy with unforgettable performances. Don't miss it!
