Teen & Tween DIY 90's Workshops
Before there was Tumblr, Soundcloud andYouTube......
Zines, Riot Girrrl, Grunge, Punk Rock, Rap, Skateboarding, and politics all made up a part of the 90s D.I.Y subculture. Express yourself and learn how to create your own DIY items inspired by the youth subculture of the early 90's.
Each week we'll work on an easy project or projects that were part of the DIY subculture. Zines, Button Making, Upcycle t-shirts and flannel shirts are just a few ideas that we will explore.
July 23rd---bring an old t-shirt with a graphic design (XL works best but any size will work) to make a DIY Pillow!
You may also work on a Zine or create some buttons to put on your shirt!
Registration requested so we can have enough supplies and notify you of the week's project and any supplies you may need to bring.
