Performer, actor, director, and lecturer Steve Pollack will present this multimedia lecture on the relationship between Stephen Sondheim and Oscar Hammerstein, two of America’s most loved and admired composers/lyricists who have given the world many enduring musical plays. Pollack will perform musical examples of Sondheim’s music and we’ll learn of the invaluable lessons about the craft of Broadway that he learned from Hammerstein, one of its great pioneers.
