PAWS for Reading

Children can come to the library and practice reading to the best listener - a dog! Three therapy dog teams will be at the Swarthmore Public Library to meet with beginning and reluctant readers and to listen to children (Kindergartners and older) read a book of their choice. This is also an ideal opportunity for English language learners. 

This very popular program is held two Thursdays each month. Registration required. Each child will get a time slot within the 6:30-7:30 window. Email Mr. Scott at swcsd@delcolibraries.org to request a specific time.
