Socrates Cafe
Join us for Socrates Café, our long-running discussion group where we come together to share ideas, explore different viewpoints, and question our assumptions in a respectful, welcoming space.
This month we will discuss: Can philosophy make us better people?
Some things to consider:
- What do we mean by better?
- What counts as "doing philosophy"?
- Would society be better if everyone studied philosophy?
- Is there a question you've never been able to answer but continue to find valuable?
- If philosophy hasn't made you a better person, what has?
