SUMMARY:Teen Volunteer Night at Middletown Free Library 6:15-8:15PM
DESCRIPTION:Need to get some community service hours for school or 
 scholarships?\n\nCome to the Middletown Free Library from 6:15-8:15PM on 
 select Mondays and Wednesdays and help out! \n\nStudents MUST REGISTER 
 beforehand as space is limited.  \n\n\n\nWe cannot accommodate students on 
 the Waitlist at this time.  We apologize for the inconvenience\, but you 
 may only volunteer if you are fully registered. (Students on the Waitlist 
 may NOT volunteer.  If you are waitlisted you must wait and see if you get 
 an email indicating that you have come off the waitlist\, and onto the 
 fully registered list.)\n\n\n\nCheck in at the Main Circulation Desk and 
 ask for Miss Libby.  \n\n\n\nTasks involved may include:\n\n-organizing and 
 cleaning up materials for children's programs\,\n\n-shelf-straightening 
 books\,\n\n-spraying and wiping tables\, \n\n-sweeping throughout the 
 library\,\n\n-crafting scavenger hunt and decorative displays for the 
 Children's Area\, and more. \n\n \n\n\n\nNo Cell Phone Usage during 
 volunteering time.  All volunteers are expected to respect library and 
 volunteering rules and directions\, such as following directions\, being 
 polite\, and maintaining a quiet atmosphere in the library.  Due to safety 
 concerns\, if volunteers cannot adhere to library rules and follow 
 directions\, they will be dismissed from volunteering and will not receive 
 a volunteer verification letter. \n\n\n\nTeens only\, ages 13-17. 
 \n\n\n\nAs a reminder\, all volunteers aged 18 and up MUST have volunteer 
 clearance paperwork.   \n\n\n\nWe cannot accept volunteers who are aged 18 
 and over who do not have volunteer clearance paperwork. 
 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nAttendance Standard: If a participant signs up and 
 is a no-show\, or refuses to complete the volunteer tasks/behave 
 appropriately/follow safety/quiet rules in the library\, then they will be 
 removed from a future MFL registered program.  If a participant cannot 
 follow the safety rules and directions of the teen volunteering program\, 
 then they will be removed from a future registered teen volunteering 
 program.  Please be considerate and respectful of yourself and others\, we 
 offer free programs to all. \n\n
