As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, join local historian Jim Segrave-Daly for a discussion of two important Founding Fathers with local connections, Aaron Burr & Richard Henry Lee.
An accomplished speaker specializing in American History, Jim’s presentation is the second in a series of 3 lectures at The Finley House throughout the ‘Semiquin’ summer of 2026.
From Burr's distinguished service during the Revolutionary War & his election to the vice-presidency in 1800 to Lee's Resolution of 6/7/1776 that put the country on the path to independence, both men made vital contributions that helped create the new nation.
Homemade ice cream, ginger cookies and lemonade will be served!
