The Reel Deal: Summer of Soul

1969 is known best for a festival in upstate NY. In that same state during that same summer The Harlem Cultural festival, a 6 week showcase of some of the most talented and acclaimed musicians, was held. Featuring artists such as Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Sly and the Family Stone and B.B. King, the festival was a celebration of Black excellence. Join the Reel Deal as we celebrate these artists once again.
