Free Tax Prep Appointments (VITA)

The Community Action Agency of Delaware County is accepting appointments for FREE tax preparation through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

To schedule an appointment with an IRS-certified tax preparer or ask questions, please call 610-833-4443.

What to bring:

Photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or other government-issued ID)
Social Security cards for you, your spouse, and dependents, or ITIN assignment letter (if applicable)
Proof of foreign status (if applying for an ITIN)
Birth dates for you, your spouse, and dependents listed on the return
Wage and income statements (W-2, W-2G, 1099-R, 1099-MISC, etc.)
Social Security Benefit Statement (SSA-1099), if applicable
Interest and dividend statements (1099 forms), if applicable
Health coverage statements (Forms 1095-A, 1095-B, 1095-C), if applicable
Health Insurance Exemption Certificate, if received
A copy of last year’s federal and state tax returns, if available
Bank routing and account numbers for direct deposit (blank check or bank document)
Daycare provider payments and the provider’s tax ID number, if applicable
IRS and state income transcripts, if applicable
