Sensory Play Time

Tuesdays at 9 AM for ages 5 and under (siblings welcome).

Sensory Play Time is designed for children who are on the Autism Spectrum and/or Neurodivergent.   

Children are welcome to come build with blocks, play with toys, and enjoy bubbles.  During this time, families are also welcome to explore the library- which does not open to the public until 10 AM.  

To help us make story time safe and comfortable for everyone, we kindly ask families to sign up each week.  The winter/spring story time session runs January 20- May 8, no class on 3/31.

  • Space is limited and registration is required for this program 
  • Online registration will open one week prior to event start time
  • Sign-up one family per registration 
  • If placed on the wait list, you will be notified by email when a spot becomes available- please check your spam mailbox for notifications 
  • Walk-ins (whether on the wait list or not registered) are not guaranteed entry into this program
