Wool Wonders: Needle-Felted Animals for Beginners
Discover the soft and satisfying art of needle felting! In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn how to sculpt wool into adorable felted animals using special barbed felting needles. Library staff will demonstrate basic techniques for shaping, layering, and adding details, then guide attendees through creating their own small animal—like a cat, bird, or bunny.
This hands-on craft is both relaxing and creative, making it perfect for adults looking to unwind, try something new, or explore fiber arts in a friendly, supportive environment. Each participant will leave with their own handmade wool creation and the confidence to continue felting at home.
