Author Visit: Lt. Col. David Kelly
Eight Wheeled Warriors and Grunts concentrates on Marines who served in infantry units and Light Armored Vehicle units during combat operations in Iraq during 2004. These Marines fought on the western fringes of Iraq as well as in urban areas of Fallujah and Ramadi. This is Lieutenant Colonel David Kelly’s third book based on oral interviews that he conducted at bases and camps throughout Iraq. His mission as senior Marine Field Historian was to record as many of the stories as possible. His talk at the Springfield Township will highlight many of the stories Marines he met during his deployment. Please register.
