Lit Legends: Virginia Woolf

Lit Legends: Virginia Woolf Online

You can attend this talk either in person or online via Zoom.

In books like Mrs. Dalloway and To The Lighthouse, Virginia Woolf radically changed our ideas of what a novel could be by focusing on the internal thoughts and experiences of her characters rather than external elements of plot. Explore how Woolf opened a window into the interior lives of women like her: educated and ambitious, sometimes struggling with mental health challenges, and in a society that did not yet value everything they had to offer.

Presented by Dr. Nina Benhardus, Assistant Professor of English at Delaware County Community College. Warm beverages and light snacks will be provided.
