Bring your imagination to life—literally glowing—with this hands-on DIY workshop just for teens!
In this program, participants will learn how to sew their own custom felt dolls and add a special twist: glowing LED lights. This program blends creative design, basic sewing techniques, and simple circuitry to create a one-of-a-kind plush companion that lights up with personality.

Design Your Doll

Sketch out your felt doll idea (creatures, characters, animals, etc.)

Choose colors, shapes, and facial features

Sew It Together

Learn and practice basic hand-stitching techniques

Cut and sew felt pieces to build the doll’s body and features

Add the Glow!

Learn the basics of soft circuits using conductive thread

Stitch a simple LED circuit with a battery to make eyes, a heart, or another feature light up
