Free Afterschool Meals for Youth

Free Afterschool Meals for Youth

Come by after school to grab a free healthy meal in a safe and welcoming space!

Thanks to our partnership with Feed Philly Now and Ava’s Farm, youth in our community have access to nutritious food after school. Founded by Kensington native Austin Wright, Ava’s Farm has grown into a network of 18 distribution sites across Philadelphia and Chester. Their mission is simple: provide free, fresh meals and create spaces where kids can learn, play, and feel supported.

At our library, that mission continues. Enjoy good food, connect with friends and neighbors, and join in on fun programs and activities.
