Cardboard Creations

Cardboard Creations is a hands-on, imaginative library program designed for children ages 6–12. In this program, kids use recycled cardboard, tape, markers, and other basic craft supplies to dream up and construct their own creations—from robots and castles to cars and costumes. This program encourages creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving through open-ended building and storytelling.

Program Objectives:

Foster creativity and innovation through open-ended design

Encourage collaboration and teamwork

Promote sustainability by reusing materials

Strengthen fine motor and spatial reasoning skills
