Bridge Basics – New to the game? Out of practice? Join us!
This 6-week beginner bridge course, based on the Audrey Grant system, is perfect for those new to the game or returning after time away. By the end, you’ll be able to play bridge at a basic level with friends, private groups, or in beginner-level club games. If interested, join us in a relaxed, warm, and supportive environment as we learn to play what has been called the most fascinating and engaging game ever!
📅 When: Thursdays, 1–3 PM | September 4 – October 16
(No class on September 11 to accommodate the Friends’ Book Sale setup)
📝 Commitment: Students must attend all six weeks and register before the first class on September 4.
💵 Cost: $10 per person includes Audrey Grant's book, "Bridge Basics 1: An Introduction" ($10 value)
👨🏫 Instructor: Dr. Rex Saffer is a retired Professor of Physics and Astronomy, a lifelong scientist and educator with an unquenchable passion for playing and teaching the game of bridge.
