Life's Final Chapter Book Club and Discussion
Death is a normal part of life and yet as a culture we shy away from it. Talking about death and dying can be life-affirming and life-enhancing. We will reflect on the voices of various authors, share our experiences and explore ways to make our lives better right up to the very end. The Gift of Years by Joan Chittister looks at the many dimensions of aging, the purposes and concerns, struggles and surprises. Older age gives us the opportunity for wisdom, freedom and prosperity of another kind. The gift of these years is not merely being alive, it is the gift of becoming more fully alive that ever. Please join us to discuss:
