Science in the Summer: Be a Health Scientist!
GSK Science in the Summer TM - In collaboration with The Franklin Institute
Join us at the Norwood Library for this year's annual Science in the Summer program: Be a Health Scientist! Health Science is all about finding ways to keep people healthy and helping them get better when they are sick. The human body is complex. There are many parts that work together to protect us from sickness and work to keep us healthy. When those parts are unable to do their job, health scientists can help in a variety of ways. Participate in fun science activities to learn how real-life scientists keep us healthy.
This is a two-day program, please plan on attending on Monday, July 21 AND Tuesday, July 22 from 1 to 3pm both days.
Registration is required. Please register each child in your family individually. All libraries will offer at least 4 of the 5 career activities as part of the program, using the same curriculum. Each library will hold their own registration. Patrons will know right away if they have been accepted into the program. All students completing at least 4 activities will receive a complimentary ticket to the Franklin Institute.
