Intro to Zentangle
This is an introductory class with instructor and CZT Laura Kuchmay.
Supplies provided
The Zentangle Method, created by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas, is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. These patterns are called tangles. As you learn and draw, you will explore the invitation to practice gratitude, be mindful, slow down, increase your focus and enjoy creating!
You will be introduced to the basics steps of the Zentangle method and exposed to associated vocabulary and tools used. As a student, you will be immersed in creating actual Zentangle Tiles. You will leave with a clear understanding that, “Anything is possible one stroke at a time.”®
Through the Zentangle Method of drawing, you can
- Relax
- Focus
- Expand your imagination
- Trust your creativity
- Increase your awareness
- Respond confidently to the unexpected
- Discover the fun and healing in creative expression
- Enter a vibrant and supportive world-wide community
- Feel gratitude and appreciation for this beautiful world and all that you can do
