CANCELLED - The Life & Poetry of Emily Dickinson

Emily Dickinson was born in Amherst, Mass. on December 10, 1830. She wrote more than 1,800 poems and explored themes including the wonders of nature, the identity of the self, death and immortality, and love. Along with Walt Whitman, she is widely considered to be one of the two leading 19th-century American poets. Come learn about her life and works with retired Penn Professor and distinguished author Peter Conn.
Dr. Conn will bring a selection of her poetry to discuss. If you have a specific Emily Dickinson poem you’d like to be included please let us know when you register below.
