Writing Workshop
Have you dreamed about writing your own book or story, but don't know how to get started? Join us on May 19 as we welcome local author Kit Spayd for a workshop on doing just that! Ms. Spayd is the author of a novella, A Selfless Life, published in 2023, and has worked in the writing world for many years. She will cover how to tackle many of the early stages of getting your story written and on paper, including brainstorming/storyboarding, coming up with a title for your work, the editing process and more.
This program will take place on May 19, 2025, with a follow-up session on June 9 to allow participants time to begin using what they've learned and bring in what they've worked on to discuss with Kit and their fellow writers.
