Teen Plant Pop Program!
Teens in grades 6th-12th are welcome to join us on Saturday, April 19th from 3-4pm to make nutrient-packed soil pods containing pollinator garden seeds. We will get together for another event on Saturday, May 17th from noon-4pm to plant these soil pods, milkweed plants, and nectar plants on the Furness lawn. This official Monarch Waystation will help to sustain monarch butterflies on their annual migration to Mexico. Please wear messy clothing to help us to create a vibrant oasis at Furness that attracts butterflies and supports pollinators!
Photography and Video Policy: By registering for or participating in this event, you or those attending with you may be photographed or recorded on video that will be used for library promotional purposes. If you or a member of your group would not like to be photographed, please alert a staff member at the program.
