Blossom Together!
Join Marple Public Library for an extraordinary, imaginative, and educationally enriching program learning about the magical world of gardening and the importance of spreading seeds of kindness throughout our community. We will start by reading the book that inspired our program today, ‘The Extraordinary Gardener.’ This remarkable and gorgeously illustrated book was written and illustrated by Sam Boughton. After reading our story, we will continue our program by painting our very own small terra cotta pot (1 pot per registered child) as colorful as our story. Each registered child will receive a packet of sunflower seeds to take home further encouraging a love of gardening. All registered participants will also receive their very own plant observation packet to continue the learning and fun at home. For all program attendees today (1 entry per family), we will raffle off Longwood Gardens Family Passes and announce winners at the end of this program.
