RML is hosting another no-buy, clothing swap on Saturday, April 26 in the Winsor Room. It’s time to clean out those favorites that have served you so well but need to move on now–making room for some new-to-you stuff. Clothing collection begins 4/6 and ends 4/19– drop off no more than 6 items during regular business hours at the Reference Desk and receive a ticket for each item.
Clothing donors get “first dibs” and can use their tickets to start shopping at 1:00pm. The swap will then open to the public from 2-3.
Clothing must be in good condition, clean, with no stains or holes.
One of the reasons we host a clothing swap is to help our community members reduce, re-use, and recycle clothes. Come and mingle with other sustainable-minded, eco-friendly people whose wish is to recycle and upcycle.
ACCEPTABLE ITEMS: women’s/men’s/unisex shirts, pants, coats, sweaters, dresses, skirts,
jumpsuits, jeans, shorts
UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS: children’s clothing, bathing suits, underwear, socks, accessories,
or shoes
Saturday, April 26, “first dibs” shopping begins at 1pm for donors; 2-3:00pm shopping opens to the public.
