Teaching Healthy Human Sexuality to our Children

From day one our children are discovering it all; their fingers, toes, belly button and of course their private parts. Therefore, it's never too early to support, empower and educate our children on everything from their most innocent discoveries, to their more complex and challenging concerns.

Keep your children physically and emotionally safe by making yourself their primary resource, on the critical information necessary to make positive decisions.

Join us for this three part series, "Teaching Healthy Human Sexuality to Our Children", where we will walk from infancy through the teenage years, assisting you in navigating each phase of development.

What Does the Course Look Like?

Session 1 (4/1) – The Importance of Teaching Sex Education to your Children starting with Babies and their Bodies

Session 2 (4/8) – Toddlers/preschooler and Your Elementary Discussions

Session 3 (4/15) – Middle School Puberty and Human Sexuality and Your Teen

Registration is requested for each week you'd like to attend. You can attend 1, 2 or all 3! Class will take place in Classroom #8 over in the Roosevelt Community Center side of the building.

Lisa Eller is a certified teacher and coach with over 25 years of experience working with children and families. Through both her personal and professional experiences, she has become a valued educator who shares the critical nature of educating and empowering our children to feel comfortable with their own sexuality at every stage of life and safely take control of their own bodies.
