Our favorite Egyptologist returns with an introduction to the history behind ancient Egyptian mortuary practices, how mummies were made, and why mummies are so fascinating to Western culture. This talk includes Dr. Phillips’ own archaeological excavations from the cemeteries adjacent to the Great Pyramids at Giza, Egypt.
