Reads & Roasts: A Literary Coffee Tasting for Grown-Ups

Reads & Roasts: A Literary Coffee Tasting for Grown-Ups

Please note: As of 2/6/25 all seats are currently filled. However, a waiting list is available. You will be notified via email if a spot opens and you are moved off the waitlist.

Few things pair better than a great book and a hot cup of coffee. Just like literature, coffee creates a different experience for everyone who tastes it. It can add another layer of comfort and relaxation to a new read or old classic. During this literary tasting we will try 4 varieties of coffee that were carefully selected to compliment the setting, characters, and mood of 4 different book titles. This time, the flavors take inspiration from Valentine’s Day sweets!

This program is for grownups (18 & up). Registration is required.

Please be sure you understand the following before signing up for this program:

  • Because of limited space and materials, we must cap registrations for certain programs.
  • If you register but are unable to attend, please contact the library or cancel your registration online. Many of our programs have long waiting lists, and we’d love to offer available spots to others.
  • If you arrive more than 9 minutes after the program begins, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist.
  • If you're on the waitlist, check back a day or two before the event to see if you've been added to the registered list. You’re also welcome to come on the day of the program to see if any spots open up due to no-shows, but please note that entry is not guaranteed.
  • If you sign up for a program and do not attend without notifying us more than twice, registration for future programs will be subject to potential cancellation.

Thank you for helping the library continue to be able to provide programs for our community by following these guidelines!

Photography and Video Policy: By registering for or participating in this event, you or those attending with you may be photographed or recorded on video that will be used for library promotional purposes.
