Middletown Free Library Kids Logic Puzzle and Chess Club 12:00-2:00 with STEM Sparks Club!

Kids Logic Puzzle and Chess Club at the Middletown Free Library from 12:00-2:00PM in the Auditorium!!

Need a brain-stimulating activity while the kids are out of school? Try out a chess match or some of our logic puzzles. Teen volunteers from the High School and Middle School will be there to help explain the rules and play games with the kids.

We'll have different logic puzzle-style games like Krypto, Connect 4, Rubix cubes, Mastermind, Memory, and many more. We will also have several chess sets. Best for ages 6-12, but younger siblings always welcome. We wil also have floor puzzles and easy games for the younger siblings. Stop in for one puzzle/match, or try a few more.

We will also have the new STEM Sparks Club where teen volunteers from the Science National Honors Society will share their love of science with the younger children!! The teen volunteers have worked hard to create science games, activities, and crafts for the children to explore!

Children under the age of 12 must have an adult present in the library. This is not a drop off event. Parents must remain in the library with children.

Registration is encouraged but not required.
