Guest Reader + Bagpipes
Guest Author Reading & Bagpipe Playing
Dustin Hilbran (w/ special guest teen-illustrator Evelyn Smith)
Saturday, March 1st @ 10:30am
Join us at the Middletown Free Library for a special guest reading by author Dustin Hilbran from his book. He will also play the bagpipes, talk about his book, and answer any questions from the audience. Teen-illustrator Evelyn Smith will also be joining! All ages are welcome to attend! Registration is not required.
"For as long as he can remember, Dustin Hilbran has loved leprechauns. He even attends the University of Notre Dame, where he has spotted a few! For his undergrad degree, Dustin went to Brigham Young University-Hawaii, where he learned about another group of small magical people called menehunes. This book was created from the most powerful magic imaginable--love. Love of leprechauns/menehunes + love for his neurodivergent daughter = a story about knowing one’s value and knowing it doesn’t come from comparison to others."
