Teen Volunteer Time at Chess and Logic Puzzle Club 1:15-3:45
Parents, do you have a teen (aged 13-18) who is trying to get community service hours for National Honors Society or National Junior Honors Society or for a school service hour requirement?
Teens, do you like to play chess or logic games like Connect 4, Quatro, Kypto, Tic Tac Toe, and many others with kids?
If so, then come to Middletown Free Library to volunteer for our Children's Chess and Logic Puzzle Club on most Mondays and Wednesdays through the summer. Set up begins at 1:15 and clean up ends at 3:45. We need teens to help set up the chairs, tables, and games, as well as play games with the preschool and elementary-aged kids. Teens will earn 2.5 community service hours.
As a reminder, all volunteers aged 18 and up MUST have volunteer clearance paperwork.
Registration is strongly encouraged but not required. Email Miss Libby with any questions: MFLYouthServicesAssistant@gmail.com
