MFL Silent Book Club
Grab one of our comfy chairs, a drink, and a good book and join us for Silent Book Club. Set aside time to read silently with friends, community members and fellow book lovers in a perfect reading setting: the Library.
Can't read in complete silence? The Middletown Free Library has silent disco headphones with multiple channels playng relaxing reading music that you can borrow.
Silent Book Club is a global community of readers and introverts, with more than 800 chapters led by local volunteers around the world. The Middletown Free Library is part of the Delaware County Libraries Chapter. SBC members gather in person and online to read together in quiet camaraderie.
6:00-6:30pm - People arrive, grab drinks/food, share what they're reading
6:30-7:30pm - Quiet reading hour
7:30-8:00pm - Optional socializing, or just keep reading
